I was checking around online in the alt/progressive media and stumbled upon an article on Axis of Logic (AoL), an excellent site run by very friendly, decent people. I have to give thanks to the folks at Off Guardian who first put me onto Axis of Logic. The article comes from someone calling himself, or herself, Vigilant Citizen. It is titled “Something is Terribly Wrong With Céline Dion’s “Genderless” Clothing Line.”
As Paul Harris, who is one of AoL’s chief editors, noted, “When I first saw the article I thought it might be a joke. But I checked out the website and knew I had to post this piece.” I too checked out the Nununu website. It’s interesting. I don’t have (and won’t have) an Instagram account and can’t view some of Nununu’s more alarming pics on it however. Vigilant Citizen’s article, however, shows some. Vigilant Citizen’s website in fact is a strange website (with huge gaps throughout multiple pages that could indicate missing pics and/or vids and with scripts or something causing my pc to gum up), run by someone who self-identifies as a Christian. (VC’s ‘about’ is lengthy as is my own. I appreciate that. VC isn’t a polished writer but seems sincere and is clearly knowledgeable about the occult. I too read a lot about Freemasonry. That was years ago and, due to poverty and the chaos that it engenders, I’ve lost all of those many books I had dealing with Freemasonry. I had so many that I had not even got around to reading them all. The best books dealing with Freemasonry were by the late Stephen Knight and Martin Short. Martin Short’s knowledge of the Christian Bible, however, is nil, as can be seen from his ignorance about the Temple.) It’s clear to me that his or her (from here on, simply to simplify things, I’ll refer to VC as VC, for vigilant citizen, or ‘he’) Christianity is not like mine. The (identical) version of VC’s article on AoL comes with many pics, the last seven, which are disturbing and revealing, coming from NUNUNU’s IG account. I assume that that means Instagram. (I guess we can pick whether to spell type Nununu in all upercase or with just the N capitalized, since I see it typed different ways.)
NUNUNU seems to be the brainchild of two women, Iris Adler and Tali Milchberg. As VC points out, “NUNUNU is already a huge brand in Hollywood. Its website contains an extensive picture gallery of celebrities’ children wearing their creations, including Angelina Jolie, Kourtney Kardashian, Hilary Duff and many more.” The Kardashians are famous for being famous. (There’s a lot of that going around.) The father, Robert, was a friend of and the defense attorney for the disgraced O.J. Simpson. The Kardashian kids simply milked that for all it was worth.
Another article about Nununu (in which is NUNUNU is not entirely in uppercase) by Diana Rabba, can be found on an website titled “No Camels.” The article is titled “Celine Dion Teams Up With Tel Aviv Designers For Gender-Neutral Kids’ Garments.” “No Camels” is devoted to “Israeli innovation news” and is sponsored by the notorious Asper Foundation and an educational outfit called “IDC Herzliya,” whose donors includes Donald Trump’s big supporter Sheldon Adelson.
An excerpt from Diana Rabba’s above article follows:
Canadian singer and music icon Celine Dion recently launched a new collaboration with Tel Aviv-based, international children’s clothing brand Nununu for a new collection of gender-neutral garments for kids, from infants to teens. The line is called Célinununu and is sold online, while the Nununu brand has been available for years in prominent US stores such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Nununu, borrowed from a phrase Hebrew-speaking parents use to convey displeasure or disapproval to young children, was founded in 2009 by Tali Milchberg, a mother of two and one of Israel’s top stylists according to the company, and Iris Adler, also mother of two and a former art director…
The brand struck a chord with modern parents, particularly Hollywood celebrities. Nununu has a whole section on its site dedicated to showing celeb offsprings sporting the brand. These include children of Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner, Stephen Curry, Ashton Kutcher, Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Selma Blair, and Gwen Stefani.
Dion joined Nununu in November but has been buying the brand for her twin sons for more than eight years, according to Timeout.
“Inspire your children to be free and find their own individuality through clothes” says a line in the promotional blurb of CELINUNUNU. Does that apply to little ones who might one day aspire to be journalists or reporters who want to report factually about whatever they think is important? The Asper Foundation sponsors “No Camels” on whose website we find a glowing article about Nununu, while here in Canada Israel ‘Izzy’ Asper, we find, has his own take on individuality. From Yves Engler’s article titled “Anti-Palestinian coverage part of broader media pattern,” we get this interesting view:
Media coverage of world affairs mostly focuses on Ottawa/Washington’s perspective. While the dominant media is blatant in its subservience to Canadian/Western power, even independent media is often afraid to challenge the foreign policy status quo…
While there are particularities, coverage of Israel/Palestine fits the dominant media’s broad bias in favour of power on topics ranging from Haiti to Canada’s international mining industry. The main explanation for the biased coverage is a small number of mega corporations own most of Canada’s media and these firms are integrated with the broader elite and depend on other large corporations for advertising revenue. Media outlets also rely on US wire services and powerful institutions for most of their international coverage and these same institutions have the power to punish media that upset them…
After buying a dozen dailies in 2000 Izzy Asper pushed the CanWest newspaper chain to adopt extremist pro-Israel positions. When Montréal Gazette publisher Michael Goldbloom suddenly resigned in 2001 the Globe and Mail reported “sources at The Gazette confirmed yesterday that senior editors at the paper were told earlier that month to run a strongly worded, pro-Israel editorial on a Saturday op-ed page”, which was written by the head office in Winnipeg and was accompanied by a no rebuttal order…
In 2004 the CanWest head office was caught directing papers to edit Reuters stories to denigrate Palestinians. “The message that was passed down to the copy desk was to change ‘militant’ to ‘terrorist’ when talking about armed Palestinians,” Charles Shannon, a Montréal Gazette copy editor, told The Nation. “One definite edict that came down was that there should be no criticism of Israel.”
While Aspers’ interventions were crass, they elicited limited response since anti-Palestinianism pervades the political and media establishments. Both a reflection of this bias and propelling it forward, leading media figures have various links to Israeli nationalist organizations…
Prominent media figures often speak at pro-Israel events. In 2015 editor-in-chief of The Walrus Jonathan Kay and Postmedia columnist Terry Glavin spoke on a panel with Centre for Israel & Jewish Affairs CEO Shimon Fogel at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual conference in Washington DC. Conversely, Palestinian solidarity groups rarely have the resources to pay for high profile journalists and most leading media figures fear associating with their struggle.
While Israeli nationalist organizations prefer to draw influential media figures close, they also have the capacity to punish those challenging their worldview. Honest Reporting Canada organizes Israel apologist ‘flack’. The registered charity monitors the media and engages its supporters to respond to news outlets that fail to toe its extreme Israeli nationalist line. If pursued consistently this type of ‘flack’ drives editors and journalists to avoid topics or be more cautious when covering an issue.
The bolding in the above quote is mine.
From Yves Engler’s article titled “Welcome to the world of paid Israeli slanderers,” the following:
As a researcher and writer largely focused on Canadian foreign policy I was surprised to be profiled by a right wing US magazine and downright amazed when the story was tweeted out by renowned French imperialism apologist Bernard-Henri Lévy.
Recently the website Algemeiner published “It’s Time to Talk About Yves Engler” who they call “a darling of the far-left”. Publisher of an “Annual List of the US and Canada’s Worst (40) Campuses for Jewish Students”, the story decried my “diseased antisemitic brain” and stated “there must be no beating around the bush, no equivocation and no softening of the language: for years, Engler has used ‘progressive’ publications to peddle his own vile brand of anti-Semitism.”
What’s curious in this, and other smears, is I’ve done as much as any author in recent years to draw attention to real anti-Semitism in Canada…
What’s worth discussing in this attack is the organizational and financial ecosystem from which it emanates. “It’s Time to Talk About Yves Engler” was written by a York University student affiliated to the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA), which is a rabidly pro-Israel ‘flack’ group. Author Ben Shachar is a CAMERA Fellow, which means he attended a “four day all-expensed-paid annual summer Student Leadership and Advocacy Training conference in Boston” and receives a US$1,000 stipend if he “publishes at least four educational and informational Op-Eds or letters-to-the-editor”, distributes CAMERA materials, organizes an educational event about Israel covered by student media, monitors Israel discussion on campus notably “tracking all relevant class curriculum offered at your university.” If a school doesn’t already have one, CAMERA Fellows’ are encouraged to form an Emet for Israel group, which can access “thousands of dollars in resources for speakers, films, and other programming” promoting Zionism.
CAMERA spent US $4.6 million on campaigning in 2014 (the last year for which information is available online). Though the organization tries to keep its donors anonymous, a Haaretz investigation found CAMERA received more than $1.5 million over the past decade from Seth Klarman, a billionaire hedge fund manager who cofounded The Times of Israel, is a board member and major donor to the anti-Muslim The Israel Project, as well as providing funds to NGO Monitor and illegal West Bank settlements. Haaretz also found that CAMERA received hundreds of thousands of dollars from Republican mega-donor Sheldon Adelson. (Maybe the famed casino magnet is “talking about Yves Engler”.)
The bolding in the above quote is mine.
In this dark world, this gangster Corporatocracy, What is a star? Take Angelina Jolie for example. “Jens Stoltenberg and Angelina Jolie Call for NATO Intervention to Promote “Gender Equality”” is the title of Julie Hyland’s Russian Insider article. What follows is an excerpt:
“NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg and actress Angelina Jolie have joined forces to project the US-led war alliance as a progressive role model for gender politics and a “leading protector” of women’s rights.
“Their op-ed in the Guardian last weekend, “Why NATO must defend women’s rights,” is presented as a joint mission to secure the “fundamental promise in the UN Charter of equal rights and dignity for women.”
“One rubs one’s eyes in disbelief. Written in defense of an organization that is the primary source of warmongering, by its leader and chief propagandist and an Ayn Rand devotee and self-styled “humanitarian”, the op-ed could be mistaken for satire.
“Claiming that NATO was founded to safeguard “the freedom of its peoples,” the authors assert that, for 70 years, the US-led bloc has stood for the “defense of democracy, individual liberty, the rule of law and the UN Charter.””
Anyone who pays attention understands that NATO is basically the US and that the US is an empire. That is, it engages in regime change (the latest being Bolivia) and colonization (via proxies) for the benefit, mainly, of a minority of parasites (US investors and other capitalists, especially the ‘defense’ contractors). NATO is a racket, which Ann Garrison’s recent article about the Trump impeachment hoax alludes to. (I’m dismayed to see that Black Agenda Report has jumped on the Green New Deal bandwagon. The Green New Deal has succeeded in one area for sure; namely in the exposing of so many progressive orgs as being fake. It looks like the Green New Deal is poised to wipe out, in this way, all but a tiny handful of remaining progressive organizations. I’d love to be able to tell Black Agenda Report, publicly, that it is wrong about the Green New Deal but BAR has no interest in allowing free comment on its website. Readers are invited to go to BAR’s Facebook page or send in a letter to the editor. Nice. I don’t do fluffbook. Facebook is the enemy. I did send hero Glen Ford an email expressing my disapproval, however.)
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are consumers of Nununu’s products, which fact Nununu is happy to advertize.
Tom Hayden notes, in his article titled “The CIA Goes To Hollywood: How America’s Spy Agency Infiltrated the Big Screen (and Our Minds),” that:
AT A TIME WHEN THE CIA is still hiding the details of its extrajuridical drone strike assassination program from congressional watchdogs and the media, one would think it an awkward moment for Hollywood to confer Academy Awards on films that celebrate its secret agents.
But apparently not. While a robust debate has emerged about Zero Dark Thirty’s depiction of torture, the film largely celebrates the tireless spycraft of a CIA analyst who was complicit. Meanwhile, Argo is an unqualified nod towards the CIA’s collaboration with Hollywood in liberating hostages held in Iran in 1979…
Paul Barry, a CIA “entertainment industry liaison officer” [Tricia] Jenkins interviewed, says that, “Hollywood is the only way that the public learns about the Agency.”
Think about that: it’s not that Hollywood is in bed with the CIA in some repugnant way, but that the Agency is looking to plant positive images about itself (in other words, propaganda) through our most popular forms of entertainment…
Jenkins reminds us that Chase Brandon, the CIA formal liaison to Hollywood, worked as a technical consultant on Alias during its first season. In 2004, the actress Jennifer Garner filmed a recruitment video for the Agency, saying on camera that the CIA needed smart, patriotic, courageous people of integrity, “the kind of people who have always worked for the Agency.” Speaking in the climate of 9/11, Garner said the CIA sought “creative, innovative, flexible men and women from diverse backgrounds” who wanted to “make a difference in the world and here at home.” Did the CIA draft her script, or did she actually believe those lines?…
By 2007, the CIA’s attorney, John Rizzo, was bragging that the Agency “has a very active” Hollywood network. Actors like Mike Myers, the goofy spy of Austin Powers fame, were visiting CIA headquarters to express gratitude, and Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael were signing autographs and saying things like, “We don’t know exactly what you people do, but we’re really glad you’re doing it.” The Sum of All Fears, in which a nuclear bomb goes off in Baltimore, was described by the CIA’s Chase Brandon in a Paramount Pictures press packet as a film “of remarkable accuracy and drama, which made the Agency more consequential than ever.”
The star of The Sum of All Fears, Ben Affleck, whose hero as a young man was Howard Zinn, eventually married Jennifer Garner and brought Argo to the screen. As venerated representatives of the New Hollywood, Affleck and Garner may unwittingly have done more to save the CIA’s image than the entire Republican Party.
I had no interest, unlike Tom Hayden, and still have no interest in seeing Hollywood’s propaganda movie, Zero Dark Thirty. I read the above article years ago and kept the link to it and just re-read it, after having read Seymour Hersh’s book about the killing of Osama bin Laden. I don’t know about all the torture that the lawless, ultra violent US did in order to find bin Laden, leading up to August 2010, but “It began with a walk-in. In August 2010 a former senior Pakistani intelligence officer approached Jonathan Bank, then the CIA’s station chief at the US embassy in Islamabad. He offered to tell the CIA where to find bin Laden in return for the reward that Washington had offered in 2001.” – page 16 of “The Killing of Osama bin Laden” by Seymour Hersh
Those two celebrities, Garner and Affleck, are happy promoters of the psycho, bloodspilling CIA, which was busy for over two years trying, with assistance from others, to carry out a coup in the US, which came to an end (you would have thought) with Robert Mueller’s report which couldn’t provide smoking gun evidence that Trump colluded with Putin to rob psycho Hillary Clinton of her election win. (Many of the same plotters have too little fear, too much freedom and too much confidence in their power and so are still trying to get rid of Trump, just because. See the Duran video below. Donald Trump remains president of the United States. He’s a monster, but that’s beside the point here. You are too free, not because you are free, but when you abuse your freedom. Nununu doesn’t see things that way. There’s also some examination in Hersh’s book of the navy SEALs who murdered the old, frail bin Laden (because Obama needed that, he felt, for his re-election).
“”But JSOC’s individualism also breeds a group of childish men who take advantage of their operational freedom to act immaturely. ‘We’re special and the rules don’t apply.’… [Stanley] McChrystal was not paid to be thoughtful. He was paid to let his troops do what they want with all the toys to play with they want.”” – pg 9 of “The Killing of Osama bin Laden” by Seymour Hersh
Note that JSOC includes both navy SEALs and the army’s Delta Force.
“I was visited that June by a senior official of the International Committee of the Red Cross…
“His issue was the Obama administration’s overall conduct of the war. He had come to Washington in the hope of seeing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other State Department officials, but had been shunted aside. His message was blunt: McChrystal’s men were killing the wrong people. “Our inspectors are the only visitors from a secular institution who are tolerated by the Taliban leadership, and you Americans are killing those who support our activity,” he said. “You are killing the Taliban who are not jihadists – who don’t want to die and don’t give a shit about bombing Times Square. They have no grudge against America.” The indiscriminate targeting of all who are Taliban, he said, “is reaching a point of no return, and the more radical and extreme elements are picking up momentum.”
“At one point, he said, there had been a heated internal debate among the Taliban leadership about the use of chemical weapons in an attack on Kabul, the Afghan capital, and the moderates won. The ICRC wouldn’t say how it learned of that debate, but the official added, “The guys who prevented that use [of chemical weapons] have been smoked out” – assassinated by JSOC operators – “by the Americans. The moderates are going down.” – pages 10 & 11 of “The Killing of Osama bin Laden” by Seymour Hersh
The moderates go down and then the extremists who replace them are called ‘moderates’ by the fascists who murdered the the actual moderates.
“UN Report Reveals How Israel is Coordinating with ISIS Militants Inside Syria” is the title of the 21st Century Wire article by ?. It notes that:
“Upon closer examination, the real truth begins to emerge: that the support network behind Washington’s ‘Moderate Rebels’ and terrorist groups fighting to depose the Assad government in Syria – is an inter-agency network , comprised of many contributing covert intelligence agencies, including the CIA, MI5/6, Mossad, France, NATO, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
“21WIRE reported back in December 2014 and again in January 2015, how the State of Israel has consistently provided both material, medical relief and IDF airstrike support to various terrorist and ‘rebel’ insurgents fighting in Syria.”
Do you know what the difference between the too free JSOC and the too free Israeli Defense Forces is? One is Israeli. One is American. That’s it. And that hardly means anything. As Noam Chomsky said, we should consider the US and Israel to be a single entity. And that is the desire anyway of Zionists like Israel ‘Izzy’ Asper whose foundation supports No Camels which in turn supports Nununu.
Vigilant Citizen, who happens to know a lot about the occult and has found much about Nununu that suggests that they are greatly influenced by (at the least) the occult seems to be on to something. Satanism’s most famous member, Aleister Crowley, famously said “Do What Thou Wilt,” and according to Wikipedia (which should NEVER be regarded as the final word on anything other than spelling of proper names) “campaigned for the German war effort against Britain, later revealing that he had infiltrated the pro-German movement to assist the British intelligence services.” I’d have to look into that, but I wouldn’t doubt it. Aleister Crowley shared with another Nununu customer, namely Madonna (used by Nununu in their marketing), an interest in Kabbalah, which is Jewish mysticism. Kabbalists (choose to) believe that only special people can understand the Hebrew part of the Christian Bible. That tracks. This dark world’s operating principle, or paradigm, is ‘riches for the strongest’. It turns out, then, that in this world and in this time the freedom to do what you want isn’t usually very benign. Why would it be?
“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech Wednesday at the Dimona nuclear plant, the site and symbol of Israel’s nuclear weapon capacity, and warned Iran and other regional rivals against taking Israel on.
The weak crumble, are slaughtered and are erased from history while the strong, for good or for ill, survive. The strong are respected, and alliances are made with the strong, and in the end peace is made with the strong…
But our enemies know very well what Israel is capable of doing. They are familiar with our policy. Whoever tries to hurt us—we hurt them
“Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said Iran was being “threatened with atomic annihilation by a warmonger standing next to an actual nuclear weapons factory.”” – “Netanyahu’s credo, ‘weak are slaughtered, strong survive,’ echoes Hitler” by Philip Weiss (Mondoweiss)

Stealing Howard Zinn’s idea that you can’t be neutral on a moving train; There’s an actual being named Satan and an actual being named Jehovah. One is the creator. Satan was God’s creation, but he only became Satan, meaning adversary and resister, once he chose, as we are all free to do, to rebel against God. Therefore, for now, earth is the scene of war, if you like, between good and bad. That war is also known as the issue of universal sovereignty and its like a court case or lesson. (When you have a unique crime, which the rebellion in Eden constituted, that then requires adjudication by a judge, who will, when the evidence is in render a verdict [in this case establishing that humankind’s experiment in self-rule or ‘Do what thou wilt’ is a failure] that then sets the precedent (and, in this case, it means that this lesson doesn’t have to be replayed endlessly) which will determine how rebellion will be dealt with in the future (in which we will still be free to rebel but we won’t be free to cause trouble for those around us). And that war will claim real victims. But the victims in this war aren’t killed by others. They are killed by themselves. We are only ‘compelled’ to get the wild beast’s slave’s brand, or mark. We don’t have to give into the pressure (and the enticements, which include lies about hidden knowledge that we, as special people, can tap, something along the lines of the serpent’s lie, recorded at Genesis 3:4,5, about gaining knowledge like God). Riches don’t just magically flow to the ‘special’ crowd. They acquire those by being strong and by taking them from others, just as the sponsor of “No Camels,” Izzy Asper’s friend Benjamin Netanyahu (and others like Hitler and Narendra Modi of India), has indicated.
nununu creates an alternative fashion line to typical children’s clothing. It goes against fashion’s narrow set of beliefs, and breaks free from over-stimulating kid clichés. By introducing children to the wonderful mystery of minimalism, nununu lets kids shine at every stage with a kickass cocktail of attitude and a big sense of humor.
The nununu image conveys an air of detachment. It is never cute or sweet, but always ready for the challenge. The brand operates in a way where instead of defining differences it dissolves them, blurring out any boundaries and making divisions completely insignificant.
In an age of Jeffrey Epsteins, you would think people would be looking critically at the idea of boundaries and wishing that they could be respected more than they have been. What is neoliberalism? Neoliberalism is a social-economic system with inequality at its core. It means, in a nutshell, complete freedom for transnational corporations and business generally, and that freedom comes at the expense of the people. ‘Free’ trade deals for example are not about free trade, but about protecting investments. (Linda McQuaig’s book titled “The Quick And The Dead” will give the reader a good, clear idea what free trade agreements are about. The first one, in the modern era, between the US and Canada, simply served as a trojan horse that entrenched the anti-free trade idea of protecting intellectual property, along with entrenching copyright and patent protection laws.) That’s why critics call them charters of corporate rights.
Free trade deals are vehicles that channel political power from democratic (to the extent that they still are) governments to unaccountable, private corporations. I’ve been talking about boundaries a fair bit recently because I notice that some of my fellow progressives don’t get that boundaries are important. (What triggered my angst was the foul language. As Jesus Christ said, ‘He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much’.) View the above linked-to video excerpt of The Duran in which Alexander Mercouris and Alex Christoforou discuss the lawlessness of the US. They make the point that they’ve been doing lawlessness abroad for so long that it’s now all they know and that lawlessness is now very active in the US itself. I don’t quite see things that way – you are not innocent just because you harm others rather than yourself – but they still make a good point. I’d also say that darkness is its own reward. You may start off clever, as the movers and shakers who imbibed the grandiose imperialist and supremacist ideas of Harold Mackinder and Nicholas Spykman (founders of geopolitics) did, but you will end up dumb as a post. You can’t deny reality (lie) all the time and not become untethered. (Fascists who tell us, even those of us who are Jews, that criticizing Israel is anti-semitism is a good example of untethered. They are certainly untethered from God, who has no use for liars and murderers.)
Jesus Christ said: “Go in through the narrow gate, because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction and many are going in through it. Whereas, Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life and few are finding it.” – Matthew 7:13,14
Good parenting (which the Creator, who didn’t design us as robots, expects of parents) is an example of what walking on the narrow and cramped road to life means. Understanding what Jesus meant is the key here. ‘Narrow and cramped’ is how those who don’t get boundaries view sane rules meant to keep not just youngsters from harm, but all of us. Kids may grumble that they can’t have candy any time they want (their path is in that sense narrow and cramped), but were they to have that freedom… Viewing images such as the following, taken from Nununu’s IG (Instagram I assume) account tells me that Iris Adler and Tali Milchberg have a very wrong idea about boundaries:
I am not a prude. I consider myself, via my pro human rights sensibilities and sense of fairness, liberated (and that very possibly is a not a position I should, as a Christian, take), but I absolutely believe in boundaries. Even my fascist government here in Canada does (seen in age of consent laws and the ‘willingness’ to examine the tragedy of missing and murdered indigenous women), although it’s hypocrisy when the Canadian government can then ignore what Israel does to women and children in Gaza and ignore what Saudi Arabia, who we’ve sold weapons to, and assorted terrorists are doing to women and children in Yemen.
Nununu’s deviance doesn’t end there. Our most recent exploited young person/celebrity makes her appearance on the Nununu website. I’m talking about Greta Thunberg. Using the site’s search feature will not call up Greta Thunberg. But click on ‘media’ and you’ll find her along with this:
Celinununu salutes climate activist Greta Thunberg from Sweden, a 16-year-old that took a stand for us all. Loud and clear, she demands for an immediate change to be made, saying “You are never too small to make a difference.”
In August 2018 prior to the September 9th Swedish election Greta went on a strike to raise the awareness to global warming demanding that the government undertake a radical response to the climate change. Every day, instead of going to school, she sat on the steps of the Swedish parliament building in Stockholm with her sign Skolstrejk för klimatet – ‘school strike for the climate’…
After rallying masses of school children across Sweden for action on climate change Greta took to the stage at the recent COP24 climate talks in Poland, and called for a global school strike to force world leaders into “focusing on what needs to be done, rather than what is politically possible.”
Greta outshines the other celebs on Nununu’s website, being featured on her own page on which can be found mulitiple photos dealing with Greta and her activism. Nununu is clearly actively promoting the corporate-inspired and -led Green New Deal that, incidentally, is taking in most of the progressive community, some of which I knew was fake and some which may or may not simply be bamboozled. But, if you get boundaries and if you’ve looked into the Green New Deal, What is there to think about here? There’s been enough written already by various progressives about Greta, but I see that Vigilant Citizen also has an article about Greta which seems, for the most part, to be about right.
“The Elite Machine Behind Greta Thunberg” by ? (Vigilant Citizen)
An excerpt from the above linked-to article followsa:
In the matter of a few months, Greta Thunberg went from a lone girl protesting in front of the Swedish parliament to an international phenomenon. Although mass media is making it seem as if this meteoric rise to prominence happened organically, this is simply not true.
Behind Greta is a major machine, one that is controlled by major international actors and backed by major funds. This PR machine has allowed Greta to make the covers of magazines, become the subject of thousands of news articles while being photographed with world leaders and giving speeches at elite organizations such as the United Nations.
Although Greta might very well be genuinely concerned with the fate of the planet, her message is carefully crafted by those who control her to generate a specific response from the youth. In short, Greta is the face of a major marketing scheme – a tightly coordinated international effort to sell global warming through a specific lens: Fear, panic, and urgency.
Before going further, I need to point out that I am neither a “climate denier” nor a “climate activist”. That is not my field of expertise. I never analyzed any data regarding climate change and its correlation with human activity. I am far from qualified from speaking about this issue so I won’t.
My field of expertise is mass media and its relation to power. In the “Read This First” article of this site, I explained (using quotes from the founders of the field of Communications such as Edward Bernays) how mass media is used to shape and mold opinions. The rise of Greta to international prominence is a clear-cut case of “agenda-setting”…
In 2017, Ernman won the WWF “Environmental Hero” award for her “involvement in the climate issue for the past several years”. About a year later, Ernman’s 16-year-old daughter is seen protesting in front of the Swedish parliament. The perfect storm begins.
Indeed. Examine Cory Morningstar’s extensive research into “The Manufacturing of Greta Thunberg” and you’ll have no doubt that VC is correct. Whether you care about that or not is up to you. Greta is not evil, yet. She’s exploited. Let’s be clear about that. It’s sickening to me to see progressives with stature like Jonathan Cook jump on the Green New Deal and ‘let us exploit Greta’ bandwagon ‘and’ lambast other progressives who point out both that the Green New Deal is a scam and that Greta is being exploited. (See my previous blog post titled “Progressives – part 3.”) They are screaming at us to be silent. They need our silence precisely because their betrayal is so great and disgraceful that they don’t need us pointing it out.

Some dissenters who criticize the GND for being the corporate project that it is are climate crisis deniers and others aren’t. It’s a mixed bag. I am not a climate crisis denier. I’m not a scientist either, but I am a firm believer in cause and effect. If you throw wrenches, continually, into complex operating machinery, you should expect a bad outcome. Capitalists, especially in this neoliberal era (of complete freedom for corporations thanks to the gangster politicians who back them up), who do their business as usual, impacting mother nature and us, constantly experimenting with their profit-making (extractivism, GMOs, 5G, etc) operations, are going to cause harm. The too free developers who have destroyed important wetlands all over the globe have increased the destructive power of hurricanes and tsunamis. Throwing wrenches, made out of a zillion different chemicals, into the atmosphere and into the complex global network of ecosystems – while careless government-approved farming practices lead to the destruction of good soil (via anti organic practices and the application of ‘controls’) and ground water and acquifers, upsetting the hydrological cycle – can only have a bad outcome. How can we not bring about climate crisis with all of that?
The spiritual and mental ruin of humankind leads to physical ruin. Ruined minds push nuclear solutions and GMOs and harmful vaccines for profit and untested 5G. Interestingly, The Christian Bible tosses out this warning: “But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” – Revelation 11:18
